"15 Days..." Documenting two lost years of American childhood

We are actively filming our multi-episode anthology that documents two lost years of childhood, due to Covid-19 pandemic restrictions.

From closed schools to remote learning and zooming in rooms, to locked playgrounds, masked toddlers to silent school lunches, the way children have been treated in large swathes of the U.S. was shocking, painful, and incredibly harmful.

We are filming on location in NYC, Baltimore, Washington DC and across the country. Additional locations TBD.

In order to ensure the actions taken over the past is not repeated, we must document and preserve the stories. Please support the project by donating if you can.

  • I am an anti-masker

Forced masking upon an entire population, and especially children, has many negative and isolating effects. “I am an anti-masker” is a campaign to illuminate these stories and to combat the negative connotation associated with the term “anti-masker.”

  • Mask Like a Kid

“Mask Like a Kid” started as a campaign to challenge adults to spend one day under the same restrictions as schoolchildren who were under forced masking rules. Could adults wear a mask for 7 hours a day with no autonomy to take a break? Or cough and sneeze into their mask with an inability to take it off? To be punished if their mask fell below their nose for a brief moment?

In March 2022, after NYC’s mayor unmasked kids K-12th grade, while toddlers continued to be masked, the campaign pivoted to focus on the unnecessary and harmful toddler only mask mandate (that continued until June 13, 2022, three months longer than other children).

This advocacy campaign utilized videos and mobile billboards in NYC to plead the toddler’s case to breathe to Mayor Adams, as well as ground support at rallies in the city.
